November Nine: Filippo Candio – 2010 WSOP

The final table of the 2010 WSOP, also known as the “November Nine” is set and will resume action on November 6th. Sitting in seat 8 will be Italian Filippo Candio, a 26 year old that is the first ever player from Italy to sit at the WSOP final table. In his short professional poker career Candio has already made over $1 million. Candio will enter professional poker’s biggest and most prestigious event with a chip count of 16.4 million, which is 6th best. Candio is a past winner of the Italian Poker Tour Campionato.

He started out as a cash game player at middle stakes tables but always dreamed of a spot in the World Series of Poker.
