Is anything out of reach after historic summit with North Korea?

'I Do Trust' Kim Jong-Un, Trump Tells ABC in Post-Summit Interview

President Donald Trump, the former reality television star with a knack for theatrics, tried a dose of Hollywood drama as he sought to sway North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during their historic summit.

Trump and Kim signed a document on Tuesday stating that Pyongyang would work toward "complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula".

President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, take a walk after their lunch on Sentosa Island in Singapore on Tuesday.

"The ultimate goal, shared by the entire worldwide community and as expressed by the United Nations Security Council, remains the complete, verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula", the European Union stated in a press release.

"Look, he's doing what he's seen done, if you look at it", Trump said. "By granting a meeting with Chairman Kim, President Trump has granted a brutal and repressive dictatorship, the global legitimacy it has long craved".

The US has long held the view that North Korea's illegitimate military activities can't be traded away for its right to do legitimate military activities.

"Obviously we support the continuing efforts by the president on North Korea". "Very smart, very good negotiator". "We're stopping joint exercises for a while to give Kim Jong Un some assurance that we're willing to meet him more than halfway", Graham said.

White House economic advisor says Justin Trudeau ‘stabbed us in the back’
Reneging on the commitments agreed in the communique showed "incoherence and inconsistency", it said in a statement. Before the G-7 summit, Trump scuffled with Macron over the tariffs.

Trump added at a press conference that denuclearization would start "very, very quickly".

The working lunch was the final part of the summit between Trump and Kim. "On his comments, as I said, I'm going to stay focused on defending jobs for Canadians and supporting Canadians".

"Top of the line", the President said, arguing the summit went better than his critics had expected.

Other agreements that have been signed include the recovering of POW/MIA remains and their immediate repatriation, as well as a willingness to "build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula".

I dare you to even trying to imagine Kim staring in confusion at this insane video on an iPad while Trump watches and nods his head enthusiastically.

A joint declaration after the first meeting between a us president and a North Korean leader called the summit "an epochal event of great significance in overcoming decades of tensions and hostilities between the two countries and for the opening up of a new future". Song said his "lifelong dream" is to one day return to a changed North Korea and mount an exhibition to "show [his] fellow citizens [proof of] freedom of expression".
