Chef, food critic, and TV personality Anthony Bourdain has passed away at age 61. "This is a Fox News Alert, and it is shocking: Anthony Bourdain has died", Steve Doocy said this morning on FNC.

Bourdain, who ran several kitchens in NY, shot to fame in 1999, when the New Yorker published his article Don't Eat Before Reading This, which he developed into the best-selling book, Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly (2000). Bourdain wrote vividly about the intense and challenging world of being a line cook; his confessional was both proudly boastful of his exploits and "the noble toil" of the business, and sharply critical of its culture. His 2000 best-seller Kitchen Confidential introduced readers to the workers toiling anonymously behind the scenes in American restaurants, many of whom are Spanish-speaking immigrants.

It also did not sugarcoat the mental health challenges the industry is rife with, including drug use, drinking, and addiction. CNN said in its subsequent statement: "It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain".

Obama, who shared a peculiar meal with the travel and food show host at a small diner in Vietnam, took to Twitter to pay tribute to Bourdain. And yes, he also defended his partner Asia Argento when she called out Alec Baldwin for defending and protecting Harvey.

Black Hoof owner Jen Agg said she was devastated when she heard the news.

Steam accidentally leaks Just Cause 4 ahead of E3 2018
Avalanche Studios has yet to comment on the Just Cause 4 leak , but there's virtually no scenario where the ad is fake. Very little else is shown on the advert other than the protagonist standing in a jungle during a lightning storm.

"When I woke up this morning: 'Anthony Bourdain is dead.' And I enjoyed his show". I might have deluded myself into thinking that I'd be happy in a hammock or gardening. So I trucked my way down to lower Manhattan and waited in line for an hour. Hagerty told TIME on Friday, "To me, he was nothing but kind and a gentleman". A caption just below the image read, "You know who you are". I come from a place where you don't know your neighbors.

Bourdain started his culinary career in 1970s Provincetown.

The visit was featured in season 6, episode 9 of "No Reservations." It is there that he said he first developed a taste for truly good food. "Then you were still an essential part of the economy". Much as he savored the making and eating of all manner of dishes, he was perhaps even more intrigued by their backstories - and those of the people who prepared them.

We thought it only fitting to allow Westchester's chefs and restaurateurs to give Bourdain the more personal send-off he deserves. Anthony Bourdain felt like an outsider, like he'd seen things you weren't ready for.
