Turns out, both sides are correct.

Some people say they hear the word "Yanny", while some others say they hear the word "Laurel".

Many celebrities, including Chrissy Teigen and Ellen DeGeneres, have chimed in and shared whether they hear Yanny or Laurel.

While the post is going viral on Twitter, its origins appear to be an Instagram poll that subsequently jumped to Reddit. If you heard Yanny, you probably can not fathom how someone else heard Laurel and vice versa.

Either way, it's pretty insane that the person sitting beside you might be hearing something completely different than you hear!
