Reuben Foster's Domestic Violence Accuser Comes Clean: "I Was Going to F—k Up His Career"

Elissa Ennis walks out of court on Thursday

Reuben Foster's ex-girlfriend on Thursday took the stand, under oath, and said the domestic violence charges facing the 49ers linebacker were based on lies.

The most explosive statements came from Ennis, 28, who broke down several times during her two-hour testimony and who, while being examined by Foster's attorney, Joshua Bentley, admitted that she tried to bring false domestic violence charges against another former boyfriend in 2011 when that man tried to break up with her.

"It was all a money scheme".

'I'm sorry, ' Ennis tearfully admitted in court on Thursday, according to ESPN.'I really am.

One day after those initial allegations were made, Ennis returned to her home in Louisiana and spoke again with authorities in Los Gatos via telephone.

"I wanted to sue Reuben".

Elissa Ennis, former girlfriend of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster, center, walks out of Santa Clara County Superior Court with her attorney Stephanie Rickard, rear, after testifying in Foster's preliminary hearing, Thursday, May 17, 2018, in San Jose, Calif. No charges have been filed related to the alleged abuse of the dog.

Back in April, 49ers general manager John Lynch said that Foster would be released if the story was true. She says a friend sent her a link to a video of the fight posted on Instagram.

She said Foster told her he "can't do it anymore" and that she responded by telling him she was "going to f-k your s-t up and make sure you don't have a job tomorrow". And she claims there's video to prove it.

In addition to Wiens and Ennis, the only other testimony delivered Thursday morning came from a man who was driving the vehicle that Ennis flagged down so she could call 9-1-1 on the morning of February 11.
