Broadway actress injured in tragic crash loses unborn baby

Broadway actress Ruthie Ann Miles has sadly lost the baby she was carrying following a fatal vehicle crash that claimed her daughter's life.

Ruthie Ann Miles and her daughter during the Actors' Equity opening night Gypsy Robe Ceremony at the Hudson Theatre on February 23, 2017 in New York City.

The Hawaii born actress lost her unborn child.

Ruthie Ann Miles was pregnant when police say Dorothy Bruns struck and killed Miles' four-year-old daughter, Abigail, and 1-year-old Joshua Lew as they crossed a Brooklyn intersection with their mothers.

She and husband Jonathan Blumenstein were expecting a baby girl.

"The pain suffered by Ruthie and [her husband] Jonathan is almost impossible to fathom", read the statement from Rubinowitz, a personal-injury attorney representing the family.

And now she has lost the unborn baby that she was carrying at the time, in a tragic development.

Dad of 10 charged with domestic violence in 2011
She "may not be a danger to the public at large, but these charges make clear she is a danger to the children", Judge William J. She wrote that Rogers knew about the abuse her children endured but failed to protect them and assisted in the abuse herself.

'The pain suffered by Ruthie and Jonathan is almost impossible to fathom, ' they added.

The mayhem unfolded after Bruns, then 44, ran through a steady red light, according to information in the indictment.

"She was the brightest little spirit", a source told People magazine. Evidence cited by Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez earlier this month showed that Bruns suffered two other seizures immediately after the crash.

'Abigail was a great delight to everyone who knew her; no one was immune to her joy and we miss her very much.

The theater community has been rallying around Miles, who won a Tony in 2015 for her role in the Broadway revival of The King and I.

Bruns' lawyer pleaded not guilty on her behalf.

The driver of the auto, Dorothy Burns, has been charged with manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, reckless endangerment and assault and reckless driving.
