While the studio is pacing fast towards completing the Captain Marvel movie, who will make an appearance in Avengers 4 after her solo movie, the production house is also eyeing at introducing another female superhero into the universe post the 2019 Avengers movie. The phrase "definitely sort of in the works" isn't exactly a guarantee, but it's encouraging for fans that Feige is already so familiar with the character, and openly discussing future plans to include her in the MCU. The "Avengers" and "Captain America" films have long featured Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, and rumors are that she'll get her own film soon.

Kevin also previously revealed details of the Captain Marvel movie, which stars Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson. But who truly is the all-new Ms. Marvel?

After a lot of criticism for casting mainly white, male characters in major roles, Marvel is trying to diversify its film slate by including characters of colour and female superheroes.
