These will be rolled out for India first. The change can be seen in its Facebook Camera that is in-app. The ability to capture and store past Facebook Stories to mobile devices will make life easier for communicators who want to make their Facebook feeds stand out with of-the-moment visuals.

Both Instagram and WhatsApp have seen a massive response and have benefitted from the feature. And while Instagram's Stories are now more popular than Snapchat's, neither has really transcended the basic concept which earned the original so much acclaim.

Though, the feature hasn't been well accepted on Facebook yet. The social media giant is trying to add more features to Facebook Stories engage more users on its platform.

Though the waving of the phone could not be avoided, this new feature will certainly reduce the time of waiting before you can actually start to enjoy your meal.

"This allows people to save the photos and videos they capture without taking up space on their phone", the post read. It'll save you from interrupting a memorable moment just to wave your phone in the air.

Mac Miller Arrested One Week After Breakup with Ariana Grande
Miller crashed into a pole, which caused it to fall over, and fled the scene on foot with two other individuals. Mac Miller has been arrested for allegedly crashing his vehicle while driving drunk and leaving the scene.

That, in and of itself, wouldn't be exciting: both Snapchat and Instagram already offer options for saving Stories so they won't disappear. Pictures and videos captured via Facebook camera can now be directly saved online instead of saving it on the device.

Users will create Voice Posts using the camera, although it is not yet completely clear how it will all work. Till now users could share pictures and videos on Facebook Stories, but the latest update allows users to share voice posts on its platform. With the archive, stories are automatically saved after expired; users can still access privately to their clips, either to check them or to re-share them on their News Feed. Voice clips turns out to be a great solution to this, as it aims at enriching the user experience.

Facebook has announced that it will be bringing three new features to its Android and iOS apps. It can also be used to save photos they might want to share later, so they don't have to edit or post them immediately. Users can post voice posts on Stories of up to 20 seconds.

Users can now save their stories long after and can archive them. "You can still find it in your Stories Archive if you have Archive turned on", explains Hayes. You can go back and view these Stories at any time, or choose to reshare them as a post or story.

You'll need to tap the Archive button (looks like a small clock) that is located in the Stories section above your News Feed. "You can also add stickers, text, or doodles".
