Arrowverse Crossover Batwoman

The CW will host another superhero crossover event this fall, but this time they'll be introducing the character of Batwoman into the fold.

CW president Mark Pedowitz confirmed that the introducing of Batwoman will be the first time the character will make an appearance "on any screen".

Next season's Arrowverse crossover event is going to feature an even bigger kick-ass lineup of DC comics superheroes.

"This will be another full-throttled action packed event", said Pedowitz.

Batwoman, otherwise known as Kate Kane, is one of several vigilantes who protect Gotham City.

In recent years, Batwoman (real name Katherine Kane) has become a big part of the extended Batman family. The Arrowverse has been teasing a Batman or Gotham connection since the first season of The Flash, when a newspaper from 2024 featured an article about Wayne Tech merging with Queen Inc.

The original Batwoman, Kathy Kane, acted as a female counterpart to Batman with her side-kick Bat-Girl and romantically pursued Batman.
