Warriors dismantle Spurs in series opener

15 April 2018, 05:57 | Joan Schultz

They used a 15-0 run in the third in their first postseason game in five seasons under coach Brett Brown to get the rout rolling.

The Warriors' Game 1 performance was both commonplace and incredible.

San Antonio Spurs fans are invited to cheer for the Silver & Black together during Game 2 vs. the Golden State Warriors, while enjoying Bud Light drink specials andbig prizes at the Spurs Watch Party on Monday, April 16 at The Friendly Spot, located at 943 S. Alamo St. "You know, there has been games that we've won without Steph - a series". They must choose the player. "We know what it takes this time of year in order to win", Green said. "I think we've got a lot of experience in the playoffs". Then we get going on the offensive end on the fast break.

The Warriors will probably have Draymond spend most of the game on Aldridge, with Jordan Bell/JaVale McGee/David West covering him whenever Green sits. All of those naysayers Green alluded to - real or not - can't come back Monday morning with the same hot take, because on Saturday, the Warriors left perhaps the greatest coach in National Basketball Association history gobsmacked and, save for a small stretch in the second quarter, did whatever they wanted to the Spurs at Oracle Arena. "They were much better than us".

"I have no idea", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said in his pregame press conference on Saturday.

"We understand we are not favorites", Ginobili said. "Same as Kevin. Myself". The Warriors mostly cited their defense. The Spurs with Kawhi and the Warriors without Curry would tip the scales in this series toward being somewhat level, or at least invite some suspense. "We got to do better than we think we can do".

The Golden State Warriors don't really have to prove anything to anyone. We have won games without Klay. "We had to bring the effort on the defensive end because that's the only way you can have success in the playoffs. That is the reason we're a championship team".

"I thought we cared tonight".

As we previously told you, Khloe's baby daddy was caught cheating with multiple women throughout Khloe's pregnancy. Thompson plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Kardashian moved to OH to be closer to him.

The Warriors obviously are the favorites in this series. In this picture, Golden State Warriors guard Thompson (11) dribbles past San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills (8) in the first quarter in game one of the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs at Oracle Arena. The Warriors pushed the tempo, harassed San Antonio shooters, punished the Spurs on the glass and shot the ball efficiently.

After the Warriors were blown out by the Utah Jazz 119-79 on Tuesday in their final game of the season, Durant discussed the team's rough sledding to finish.

Gregg Popovich wasn't in the mood to speak with the media following the Spurs' 21-point loss to the Warriors in the first round of the NBA Playoffs on Saturday.

Actually, Kerr wasn't purposely trying to troll his starting center, just stating the obvious when it comes to defending Spurs leading scorer LaMarcus Aldridge. That puts the Spurs in a class with very few other teams. Green contributed 12 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds.

The Spurs tried to stay glued to Klay Thompson off the ball, too.

"He's on the court doing some stuff", Kerr said.

Those eyebrows aren't up anymore. But over the course of a best-of series, it's hard to bet against the Warriors.
