Riess is believed to be driving Hutchinson's vehicle, a white Acura TL with Florida license plate Y37TAA.

Rose said the Lee County Attorney's Office in Florida charged Lois Riess of Blooming Prairie today in the murder of Pamela Hutchinson of Bradenton, Florida. USA marshals have joined the search.

Police say that a rural Blooming Prairie woman who has been on the run ever since she allegedly shot and killed her husband last month in their home just over the Dodge County line is on the run again - this time from Florida - after she killed a woman there in order to assume the other woman's identity.

That's what they believe happened to Hutchinson, who resembles Riess with her now bleached blond hair. She has not yet been charged in that case.

David Riess grew up in Rochester and opened a bait shop there after serving in the U.S. Navy, according to his obituary. Deputies went to the worm farm on Hwy. He had been shot several times. They couldn't determine how long he had been dead, and investigators could not find his wife.

Investigators believe after David Riess was murdered, Lois Riess transferred almost $10,000 from her husband's business account into her personal account and forged his signature on three checks for an additional $11,000 from his personal account to her account.

But when the investigators arrived at Diamond Jo, they determined that Lois Riess had left prior to their arrival, Rose said. In a video press conference Friday afternoon, Undersheriff Carmine Marceno of the Lee County, Florida, Sheriff's Office said it is believed by investigators there that once Riess had shot and killed Hutchinson, Riess fled southwest Florida and traveled through the Gulf states.

Christine Shedden said she lived with Hutchinson for about three months a year ago in Bradenton.

Riess also owes her sister more than $100,000, according to the Post-Bulletin. "Everyone is kind of in shock about it".

Law enforcement said they suspect that after David Riess was killed, she transferred almost $10,000 from his business account into his personal account and then forged her husband's signature on three checks to herself for $11,000.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating David Riess' murder with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

A national manhunt is under way for Reiss, who is considered armed and risky and should not be approached. Anyone who has had any recent contact with her or has any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Dodge County Sheriff's Office at 507-635-6200 or South Florida CrimeStoppers at 1-800-780-8477.
