'Tomb Raider' gives us a lethargic Lara Croft

Speaking of the Tomb Raider, Crystal Dynamics has not shown or shared much about the upcoming title but, past year a concept art for the game leaked which suggests that the game might feature unique weapons like a machete and a spear.

The source code on the website does not mention the release of a Switch game. Furthermore, it reads, "Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the climactic finale of Lara's origin story".

You can take Angelina Jolie out of Tomb Raider, but you can't make the movie any more exciting - even if you replace her with Academy Award victor Alicia Vikander.

The recent Tomb Raider games have been praised for their strong narratives and clever reimaginings of classic Tomb Raider tropes. "Available September 14th 2018", the text states.

"This is an origin story of Lara Croft for the big screen and we really wanted to focus on Lara and also the father-daughter relationship which I feel is the emotional core of this movie". Fans will remember 2015's "Rise of the Tomb Raider" was exclusive to Xbox One for a full year before the PS4 version came out.

Of course, the game is listed for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, which are the same platforms that the previous two games released on.

Tomb Raider opens in cinemas in the U.S. on March 16.
