It seems like Quentin Tarantino & Co. are given them a run for their money, with sort of their cool kids version of an Oscar-winning, star-studded assemble, as Deadline exclusively broke yesterday that Margot Robbie joins Tarantino in his upcoming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, about the Manson murders.

Although Robbie had a short cameo in Brad Pitt's The Big Short, this will be the first time that the two are leading a film together as well. She now has the offer and negotiations are underway to make it a reality.

Robbie joins a cast that so far includes Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, in a story set in 1969 Los Angeles during the last days of the hippie movement. Tate is indeed a character in the new film, as Rick Dalton's next door neighbour.

The movie takes place in Los Angeles in 1969 at the height of hippy Hollywood.
