The Latest Man accused of killing 2 Ohio officers charged

Two police officers were shot and killed after a shooting occurred in Ohio Saturday afternoon. In a follow-up Tweet officials said a second officer, who was initially reported to be in critical condition, had succumbed to his injuries. A suspect was also wounded and taken to a nearby hospital, according to NBC4. Officers were responding to a 911 call at the address, and were fired upon when they arrived at the scene.

The Westerville Police Department has not immediately confirmed the officer's death but they announced a news conference at 3:30 PM. The shootings are being investigated by Columbus police, the spokeswoman said.
