According to Variety, Snowden writer Kieran Fitzgerald penned the script for the Call of Duty movie, which is now without a distributor, and specific plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, though Activision Blizzard Studios co-presidents Stacey Sher and Nick Van Dyk told The Guardian previous year that they don't plan on drawing any specific story elements directly from the games.
