London City Airport Shutdown After Discovery Of WWII Bomb

"Following the discovery of a World War II ordnance in King George V Dock as part of planned development works, a 214m exclusion zone has been implemented", the airport said in a statement.

Several householders were evacuated from their homes overnight and are staying in temporary accommodation.

It's after an unexploded World War Two bomb was found in the Thames River beside the runway.
