Discussing the Borges situation Friday on the WEEI radio show he co-hosts with Glenn Ordway and Lou Merloni, Fauria decided that it would be amusing to read the text messages sent to Borges from Fake Don Yee with a stereotypical Asian accent, which is horribly racist.

Fauria, who co-hosts the daily program "Ordway, Merloni & Fauria" that's broadcast throughout MA on WEEI-FM, said in a statement that he has reached out to Yee to personally apologize for his racially "insensitive" impersonation.

"I'm gonna be Don Yee", Fauria said before reading them.

The show was discussing a Boston Herald column by Ron Borges. Finally, the whole thing unraveled when the hoaxer, going by "Nick in Boston", called Boston sports radio network WEEI and fessed up to tricking Borges and showing the fake texts.

"I have also reached out to Don directly to personally apologize", he continued. After ending his National Football League career, Fauria began co-hosting the midday WEEI show.

Garoppolo signed a five-year, $137.5 million contract with 49ers on Thursday. "For me, I don't know why, Don Yee sounds like an Asian guy". He is of Chinese descent, but he was born in Sacramento, Calif., and does not speak with any distinct accent.

Not to WEEI management, which announced Fauria has been disciplined.

Sardesai's remarks came during the Goa BizFest in Bambolim, attended by top industrial and tourism sector players of the state. The minister made the comments while speaking at the Goa Biz Fest organised at a resort near Panaji .

WEEI initially promoted the audio on their Twitter account, even calling it "fake Don Yee".

Christian Fauria, a former tight end with the Patriots, is a co-host on "Ordway, Merloni & Fauria" on WEEI.

Fauria spent 13 seasons in the National Football League, including four with the Patriots. We regret Christian's commentary and we apologize to Mr. Yee and those offended by the segment.

Managers for the sports radio network WWEE, which broadcasts Fauria's show "Ordway, Merloni & Fauria" daily throughout MA, said they do not "support or condone" Fauria's comments.

Friday's incident follows Brady's decision to forgo his weekly interview on the station because on-air personality Alex Reimer made fun of the quarterback's five-year old daughter.

He also posted an apology on Twitter to both Yee and his audience for the "regrettable" stunt.
