Mission Harry Kane wants silverware with Tottenham

Mauricio Pochettino insists Harry Kane would rather win trophies at Tottenham than anywhere else.

Mauricio Pochettino has endorsed Daniel Levy's claim that no Tottenham player will leave against the club's wishes ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are now out of the Champions League places, although they can draw level on points with fourth-placed Liverpool if they win at Wembley and overtake Jurgen Klopp's side if they beat the Toffees by five goals or more.

The club also announced their new stadium will host its first National Football League match on October 14 - but the Oakland Raiders v Seattle Seahawks clash will be the only game next season.

The Argentine has made just one signing in the winter window sig=nce joining the club back in 2014, a deal which saw Dele Alli join from MK Dons for £5m and rejoin the Dons on loan for the remainder of the season.

Trump supporters demand London Mayor Sadiq Khan arrest

Spurs chairman Levy this week stated he is "100 per cent confident" the north London side will retain their prized assets, both this month and during the off-season transfer window.

"Of course, all the clubs and the managers want to keep their best players and we are in the same way, to keep the best and try to make the team stronger each season".

"Mauricio's strategy has always been that if an opportunity arises that he thinks can improve the squad then we will need to look at it, but January is always a very hard window", said Levy.

Real Madrid's interest in the Tottenham midfielder is, thus, quite surprising, although Alli could also slot into the midfield trio, although he is not as creative as Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

Winks had an injection on his troublesome ankle on Monday, but is not available this weekend. In the end, we've signed a few.
