Southampton to move in for Arsenal's 100 club goal scorer

Walcott

According to the Daily Mail, Everton are now leading the race to sign Walcott and are looking to do a deal with the Gunners for a fee of around £20m ($27.1m).

Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino has confirmed that he is interested in the possibility of signing Theo Walcott from Arsenal during the January transfer window.

And Walcott in particular struggled as the north Londoners were knocked out of the FA Cup.

Walcott, 28, has only appeared in five league matches this season, with this lack of game time having attracted the attention of his former club, who have funds after the sale of Virgil van Dijk to Liverpool for £75 million.

Everton and Southampton have both been linked with bids for the England worldwide in recent weeks but according to the Daily Mail, the Toffees are now "confident" that they will beat their rivals to his signature.
