Ranchi Police assures probe into Lalu's aides serving him in jail

Fodder Scam Lalu Prasad Yadav moves Jharkhand High Court against conviction seeks bail

Ranchi: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was once again presented before CBI judge Shiv Pal Singh on Wednesday at Ranchi Court where he cried harsh attitude of jail authorities towards him. "Who will now give massages to Lalu in jail?"

During the proceedings of the case in Ranchi on January 4, the CBI judge had also stated: "Laluji, we are getting a lot of references and calls for you" without naming the people who had called him up.

Sources said that the two have allegedly been personally attending to him inside the jail since December 23, the day the RJD chief was convicted and sent to prison in the Deoghar treasury fodder scam case.

The judge had also said before sentencing Lalu that the former had been receiving calls seeking favours.

The RJD, however, jumped to its leader's defence, insisting the presence of the two - Lakshman Mahto and Madan Yadav - was "conicidental".

He said that Lalu was in jail not because he took part in the freedom struggle but for amassing illegal wealth through corrupt means.

Taika Waititi Dances His Way Through the THOR: RAGNAROK Gag Reel
The critics praised Waititi's direction in particular, which brought something fresh and vibrant to the superhero franchise. He said this after finishing his scenes with " Avengers 4 ", written and directed by the brothers Anthony and Joe Russo .

"This shows that Lalu Prasad's commitment to social justice is a sham and he cares only for himself and his family members", Kumar, a JD-U member of legislative council, said.

Sources said Mahto and Madan Yadav, both residents of Jharkhand, had moved into a house in Ranchi a few weeks before the December 23 CBI special court verdict against Lalu Yadav.

An FIR was filed against Mohan and Laxman in an alleged case of snatching and assaulting on December 23 in the Lower Bazar Police Station in Ranchi.

This will be the third case in which judgment would be coming in the fodder scam case after Lalu Prasad was sentenced to three and half years jail in Deoghar case recently and 5 years in the Chaibasa case in 2013.

This is not the first time the two have accompanied the RJD chief to Ranchi jail.
