Donald Trump defends self after comments says'I am not a racist

The US president has come under attack after he was reported to have called some nations "shitholes" in a White House remark.

Immigrant Daniel Desir, who runs a restaurant, is anxious that Trump's remarks could negatively influence other people and their perceptions about newcomers.

"Very very sad, I was so shocked, I'm still shocked, I can't believe he said that", says Weedor Mcdoweel, originally fromlLiberia whose lived in the U.S for almost seven years.

If Trump can use his vile brand of "tough language" about entire nations of people, he should be willing to listen when somebody throws words like "racist" and "ignorant" right back at him, right? "What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made - a big setback for DACA!" the president tweeted.

And since we're also talking about immigration as well, we're hoping the president would take time to meet some of the TPS recipients, to see exactly how much contribution as a community we continue to provide here in this country.

Migranti, Trump: Paesi di merda? Mai usato quel linguaggio

Trump is under fire for reportedly using an expletive to describe African nations during a meeting with seven lawmakers discussing immigration.

Unites States President Donald Trump faced a barrage of questions about claims that he referred to the immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as "s***holes" in an immigration meeting at the White House.

El Salvador's foreign ministry said the United States president had "implicitly" accepted the use of "harsh terms detrimental to the dignity of El Salvador and other countries". Made up by Dems.

Trump previously told Haitian-Americans: "I really want to be your greatest champion, and I will be your champion", while he was campaigning a year ago in Miami's Little Haiti. He has also considered recording all his meetings to prevent similar controversies in the future. "We were shocked to hear comments made by President Donald Trump", Marleine Bastien said. Dick Durbin, said Trump said exactly that. "Do we need more Hatians?"'

"To (our) partners in the worldwide community, I want to take advantage of this day to tell you all that under my leadership the country wants to take its destiny in its own hands, as I said in parliament", he added. "The president will always reject temporary, weak and risky stopgap measures that threaten the lives of hardworking Americans, and undercut immigrants who seek a better life in the United States through a legal pathway".
