Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be visiting India on a six-day tour.
The commitment is in addition to the India-Israel Industrial R&D and Technological Innovation Fund of United States dollars 40 million over five years with equal contribution from both sides that has already been agreed between the two sides, deputy Director General of Israel's Foreign Ministry, Gilad Cohen, told PTI.
Netanyahu accompanied Modi nearly throughout his three day trip in July 2017, an honour generally reserved for Presidents of Israel's close ally the United States.
Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to India comes 15 years after Ariel Sharon came to Delhi in 2003.
Netanyahu will arrive in New Delhi on January 14 and depart from Mumbai on January 19.
"The Prime Minister's visit to India is the grand finale to the celebrations of 25 years of Growing Partnership between India and Israel". Meetings with President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu are also scheduled for Monday.
