Former Seattle Seahawks and Hall of Fame QB Warren Moon sued for sexual harassment: Report

Seahawks broadcaster and former Husky star Warren Moon sued for sexual harassment

Per the Washington post, the plaintiff, who was hired in July as Moon's executive assistant, alleges she was demoted in October after complaining about Moon's sexual advances. When she protested, he replied that she had to comply to keep her job and said that "his prior assistant accepted the same arrangement," the lawsuit states.

A woman claimed Moon grabbed her crotch during a business trip to Seattle earlier this year, required her to wear thong underwear and share his bed during other business trips and pulled off her bathing suit after slipping a drug into her drink during a business trip to Mexico in October.

According to the lawsuit, Haskell was Moon's executive assistant and traveled with him on numerous business trips.

Moon's publicist did not respond to phone calls inquiring about the lawsuit, while Haskall declined to comment but agreed to go public with her name through her attorney, according to the report.

His Edmonton Eskimos won consecutive five Grey Cups and though his USA teams never won a title, he was named to nine Pro Bowls and set several single-season passing records in a less pass-happy era than now.

He threw for 49,325 yards and 291 touchdowns in the regular season and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2006. In a lawsuit filed Monday, a woman named Wendy Haskell accused Moon of several different types of sexually inappropriate behavior while the two worked for Moon's sports marketing firm.

He was forced to spend the first six years of his career in the Canadian Football League reportedly because of a league-wide bias against black quarterbacks; Moon was told he would be better off playing another position at first.

First, a Vikings cheerleader accused Moon of sexual harassment while he played for the team in 1995. They divorced in 2001.

Hours after it was noted that Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and current Seattle Seahawks broadcaster Warren Moon was being sued for sexual harassment, the organization has granted Moon a leave of absence.
