Police officer and 91-year-old woman die after Hare Hatch crash

Police Office and Old Lady Dead in Car and Bike Horrible Crash

Thames Valley Police said the incident happened on the A4 Bath Road in Wargrave at about 1.50pm.

Francis Habgood, chief constable for Thames Valley Police, said: "My officers, staff and I were devastated to hear the very sad news about our colleague PC James Dixon, aged 39 and the 91-year-old woman who died as a result of a road collision yesterday (5/12)".

"We are raising money in memory of Police Constable James Dixon who sadly died on Duty on December 5th 2017", the JustGiving page says.

PC Dixon, known for his role on the popular TV show Road Wars, was on-duty when the accident occurred.

The incident, which happened at about 1.50pm yesterday (Tuesday) involved a vehicle and motorcycle, which was being ridden by PC James Dixon.

Prime Minister Theresa May paid tribute to PC Dixon and the elderly woman during Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday.

Their next of kin have been informed.

Road Wars followed 14 members of Thames Valley Police's roads policing officers from 2003 to 2010. "My thoughts are with all those who knew him at this very hard time".

Thames Valley Police officers remain on the scene.

IPCC Associate Commissioner Guido Liguori stated: "My contemplations and sensitivities are with their families and companions and the partners of the officer at this extremely troublesome time".
