Steven N'Zonzi Reportedly Flies into London for Arsenal Transfer Talks

Sevilla: N'Zonzi and Berizzo need to settle differences quickly

Steven N'Zonzi is reportedly edging ever closer to a January move to Arsenal after the player was given permission by Sevilla to travel to London.

The Sevilla midfielder was heavily linked with the Bianconeri, but they signed Blaise Matuidi in the summer and appear to be targeting Emre Can for next season.

However, that rumour has been quashed since N'Zonzi was in London visiting his son.

N'Zonzi has not featured since being substituted at half-time of Sevilla's 3-3 draw with Liverpool last month - with his team trailing 3-0 - and the France global confirmed he has fallen out with coach Eduardo Berizzo.

N'Zonzi has not featured for the La Liga outfit since that game, and the defensive midfielder has now confirmed his time at Sevilla is all but over, which will be music to Everton's ears.

Liverpool are expected to struggle to hold on to their defensive midfield Emre Can in January, and N'Zonzi could prove an ideal replacement should the German worldwide chose to leave Anfield in search of a more lucrative pay packet.

He continued: "I'm indeed in London, but it's got nothing to do with a transfer or football. It's a technical decision and the coaches have said in public that he can change this".

"My future is clearly elsewhere than in Sevilla. Adapt to what the coach asks and I always did, I think my situation is unfair". "The only thing that disappoints me is the way it is ending", he added.

N'Zonzi won his first two caps for France last month and appears to be in Didier Deschamps' thinking ahead of the World Cup in Russian Federation.
