Taylor Swift Is Finally Opening Up About Her Sexual Assault Trial & Powerful Testimony

Taylor Swift Still Hasn't Received the $1 From David Mueller for Her Sexual Assault Case

In the accompanying issue, the singer breaks her own silence about her court case earlier this year against DJ David Mueller, who sued her for defamation after he was sacked when she told his superiors that Mueller had groped her backstage at a concert.

The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer said she was made to feel bad for the DJ losing his job, and when the news first came out people thought she was the one suing him.

"I'm told it was the most amount of times the word "ass" has ever been said in Colorado federal court", she added.

Taylor Swift recounted a taxing timetable of events from her sexual assault trial in her profile for Time Magazine's Person of the Year.

"Gabe, this is a photo of him with his hand up my skirt - with his hand on my ass", Swift said. In reply, Swift countersued but only asked for a single dollar.

Taylor Swift has been dubbed as one of "The Silence Breakers", who Time magazine named their "Person of the Year".

In one of the interview with TIME, Swift said, "I figured that if he would be brazen enough to assault me under these risky circumstances and high stakes, imagine what he might do to a vulnerable, young artist if given the chance".

Tay Tay has something to say, however, about that dollar she's owed. Though her publicist provided fans with a statement from Swift, she has remained mostly silent for the year. "I spoke to Kesha on the phone and it really helped to talk to someone who had been through the demoralizing court process", she said. And the fact that even after Mueller was found guilty of sexual assault, he's still attempting to take a "little poke" at the woman whose butt he grabbed without her consent is pretty compelling proof of the problem at large. You don't have to like Taylor Swift, but you do need to respect what she did, what that means to women, and that she too has a place in the #MeToo movement.

I think that this moment is important for awareness, for how parents are talking to their children, and how victims are processing their trauma, whether it be new or old. Just two of the faces that represent the many women who have come forward to accuse powerful men of sexual harassment and assault and it comes on the National day of remembrance and action on violence against women. Mueller, however, still hasn't paid up, an "act of defiance" Swift believes "is symbolic in itself".

ALL ACCESS reported an eight-member jury ruled in favor of TAYLOR SWIFT's counter-suit of former KYGO/DENVER personality DAVID MUELLER, finding he did assault and batter the entertainer.
