Ubisoft Delays Three Games

Ubisoft announced today that Far Cry 5, The Crew 2, and an unannounced franchise game planned for release in fiscal 2018-19 have all been delayed to give their development teams more time.

Far Cry 5 is now expected to release on March 27, 2018, while The Crew 2 will arrive within the first half of the 2018 fiscal year.

Finally, a previously-disclosed but completely unannounced game, which has now been delayed from Fiscal Year 2018-2019 to the Fiscal 2019-2020 year (April 1, 2019, to March 31, 2020).

"Taking more time with Assassin's Creed Origins enabled our talented development team to fully express their creative vision", Burgess-Quémard continued. "Taking a similar approach, we have chose to invest additional development time in three upcoming games", said Christine Burgess-Quémard, Ubisoft's Worldwide Studios Executive Director.

A press release from Ubisoft says that the game's release will be pushed back by one month. Thankfully, February is only 28 days.
