Kansas City Chiefs suspend Marcus Peters for game against Raiders

Andy Reid giving up playcalling duty to Chiefs' offensive coordinator

During an on-field skirmish with 6:12 to play in the first half and the Chiefs leading 17-14, Lynch raced from the sideline to intervene, getting between Raiders players and Peters. He did so with Marty Mornhinweg and Brad Childress in Philadelphia and with Doug Pederson in Kansas City, though the sources said Reid will continue to have strong oversight during the game. Peters, apparently unhappy with the call, grabbed the penalty flag from the ground and threw it into the stands. "I haven't made any decision either way", Reid said. He later returned, but obviously, his behavior irked the Chiefs.

Reid did not respond to inquiries regarding the development, as the Chiefs enter Sunday having lost five of six games after a 5-0 start. Peters apparently thought he was ejected from the game and was escorted from the field by Chiefs personnel before returning a short time later when the situation was sorted out.

What Sanchez Said To Herrera During Arsenal vs. Manchester United Is Outrageous
So desperate is Guardiola to sign his former Barcelonapupil, he is willing to pay more than double City's original offer of £20m. The pair have been in impressive form for Arsenal in recent weeks.

After Reid announced he was mulling over punishment for Peters, the point was delivered clearly on Wednesday incidental behavior would no longer be tolerated. Without their top corner, the Chiefs' defense represents a plus matchup for the Raiders' passing game this week. Peters will also be spending the week thinking about his action as he will not be allowed to practice.
