North Korea missile: Inconsistencies spotted in Hwasong-15 images

FILE- This Wednesday Nov. 29 2017 file image provided by the North Korean government on Thursday Nov. 30 2017 shows what the North Korean government calls the Hwasong-15 intercontinental ballistic missile at an undisclosed location in North Korea

Despite catching glimpses of the weapon-thought to be the deadliest missile in North Korea's arsenal-Cathay Pacific and Korean Air had not chosen to alter their routes as of Tuesday, according to a Bloomberg report.

"You should see constellations that are opposites in the sky".

So, I just discovered that the North Koreans DID tamper with their #Hwasong15 launch photo's!

Wednesday's missile test reached the highest altitude ever recorded by a North Korean missile and the state-run Korean Central News Agency claims it's capable of reaching the U.S. In response to the test last week, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called on China to do more to rein in North Korea, specifically through restraining the country's oil supply. Mr. Trump did not give any specifics on plans to combat the North Korean threat however, the USA moved a squadron of the military's F-22 stealth fighters to South Korea to begin combat exercises following the ICBM launch. However, the longer exposure means that movement is captured as a blur. Among the pictures released, one showed not just the stars in the background but also blurry people in the bottom-right corner.

North Korea has a reputation of altering images it releases to the world, tampering with everything from Kim Jong Un's ears to hovercrafts conducting an amphibious landing. North Korea joined the ICAO in 1977, but the last time it warned the organization of an impending missile launch was in February 2016.

That's an important data point that helps experts calculate everything from range to payload.

These were not the only images that were used by him to prove his point.

"Stars just don't look that different a few miles apart, and we have no reason to disbelieve that this launch was from the Pyongsong region north of Pyongyang", McDowell said.

McDowell told CNN he believed the images were only edited for aesthetic purposes because the missile in the picture did not appear to have been altered.
