New Weapons, Modes and Supply Drops in Winter Siege Event for CoD WWII

The very first seasonal community event for Call of Duty: WWII is set to kick off this week, as the Winter Siege event starts this Friday, December 8 and runs all the way through January 2, 2018. It introduces several snowy map makeovers, free Winter Supply Drops, limited gear and weapons, plus a full schedule of daily and weekly activities. In addition to the game's boots-on-the-ground combat, Multiplayer offers a host of new mode, system and gameplay innovations across iconic map locations; while an all-new Nazi Zombies Cooperative mode unleashes a startling, new storyline and adrenaline filled experience.

Call of Duty: WWII is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Winter Siege begins on Friday December 8th at 6pm in the United Kingdom, and continues through to January 2nd, 2018. Winter Siege will also bring back the limited-return of Gun Game, the beloved party game mode that has players racing through a variety of guns against other players. Headquarters will also get some special sprucing up, with additional new Supply Drops with appropriate winter wear as well as a temporary quartermaster. The character will give players the opportunity to earn Winter Siege Division Uniforms, Cosmetic Items, and different weapon variants. Winter Siege Supply Drops can be earned for free simply by playing Call of Duty: WWII during the event. Players can also earn Winter Siege Supply Drops, which can be earned with zero purchases as well. Players will also receive a free Winter Siege Supply Drop for logging in to play each week of the Winter Siege event.

With a new holiday themed headquarters and Winter Carentan map already teased at, developers Sledgehammer Games have more in store for Call of Duty fans, starting this Friday, December 8th.
