A heartwarming moment between a Walmart cashier and a customer shows a little patience and understanding can make all the difference. She says the man's items had been scanned and he had been given his total when he "look [ed] apologetically" back at her and started taking out handfuls of change.

Spring Herbison Bowlin said her trip to Walmart warmed her heart when she saw the gentleman in front of her pull out lots of change.

Bowlin said, "He miscounts and starts to get flustered".

That's when the cashier took his hands and dumped all of the change on the counter. "He continues to apologize to both of us as we reassure him it's okay".

The customer's hands began to quiver after failing to correctly count the change in his first attempt.

"This is not a problem, honey. We will do this together".

Bowlin ends the post with, "I want to be more like her (the cashier)".

This post on Facebook has been shared more than 23,000 times and counting and garnered 39,000 reactions. "What's wrong with our world is we've forgotten how to love one another, '" Bowlin wrote.
