BuzzFeed on Friday published a lengthy examination of the comic book editor who has shepherded such high-profile properties as Superman and Wonder Woman - comic book characters that would leap to the entertainment mainstream through movies and television shows. The accusations first came to light in a piece on Buzzfeed, which reported that DC promoted Berganza even after at least two women allegedly reported that he forcibly kissed and grope them. "We are committed to eradicating harassment and ensuring that all employees, as well as our freelance community, are aware of our policies, are comfortable reporting any concerns and feel supported by our Company".

Berganza was demoted two years later after allegations that he was involved in another incident, forcibly kissing a woman at the WonderCon entertainment convention. Despite the allegations being an open secret, he rose through the ranks at DC to become the company's executive editor in 2010.

Joan Hilty, another editor at DC, alleged that Berganza "grabbed her and repeatedly tried to pull her in for a kiss" in the early 2000s, reported BuzzFeed.

Black Hammer writer Jeff Lemire also tweeted: "I love DC Comics and their characters and love working with them, but Eddie Berganza should have been fired a long time ago".

Asselin said 'I anxious every time we had a new young intern come into the office that was female'.

Retail inflation at seven-month high driven by food and fuel prices
Analysts polled by Reuters had expected October's retail inflation at 3.46 percent, up from 3.28 percent in September. Housing inflation grew marginally at 6.68 percent in October from 6.1 percent in September.

Eddie Berganza, a high-ranking editor at DC Comics, was sacked by DC and Warner Bros. just two days after he was suspended amid claims that he forcibly kissed and groped three women.

The BuzzFeed piece shared detailed allegations from Liz Gehrlein Marsham, then a new DC employee, who said Berganza kissed and groped her at a NY bar. Four years later, Bleeding Cool revealed that senior figure was Berganza and accused him of sexual assault.

The statement did not appear to address whether current DC editor-in-chief Bob Harras or other staff knew about the allegations against Berganza before the BuzzFeed report.

Berganza had worked with DC since the early 1990s. She said working for him would feel "scuzzy and scary".
