A little boy - a toddler - survived the crash.

A 2-year-old boy was seen walking away from the wreck with firefighters, Local 4 Detroit reported.

WDIV, the NBC affiliate in Detroit, reports that the crash happened around 1 a.m. on eastbound I-94 near 8 Mile Road in St. Clair Shores, northeast of Detroit.

The dead have been identified as driver Doreal Rogers, 20; front-seat passenger Alesia Maddox, 20; and Armonie Maddox and Ervin Johnson, both 18, who were in the back. The child, who belonged to Alesia Maddox, had just turned one on Saturday.

None of the adults were wearing seat belts, police said.

George HW Bush Accused Of Groping Teenager In Sixth Allegation Against Him
However, Grolnick said she doesn't think that excuses Bush's behavior. "I'd probably chase him down and yell at him", she added. Bush has been accused by a sixth woman of touching her without consent, when she was just 16 years old.

Speed and wet weather may have played a role in this deadly crash, but it remains under investigation. The SUV crossed three lanes of traffic and struck the bridge.

"It wasn't the right age, it wasn't the right fit, it wasn't the right anything and still saved this kid's life", Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw said of the auto seat that was holding a 1-year-old.

Police said the young child was buckled into the auto seat, and only suffered minor injuries. "It always seems it's either right before the bridge over here, or right here", she said.

"And I can tell you from experience people fly down this stretch going 80 miles per hour, don't think about it", Thurman added. Shaw says they were not ejected from the auto because the impact of the crash pinned their bodies inside.
