Sensex Zooms 135 Points at 31969, Nifty Above 10000

It was a spectacular rally in late trade Thursday as the Sensex surged 375 points and the Nifty reclaimed 10,100 level intraday, backed by Reliance Industries, private banks, FMCG and metals stocks.

At 11.30 AM: Sensex zooms over 102 points or 0.32% at 31,936.31 while the wider Nifty was up by over 37 points or 0.37% at 10,022.05.

Intra-day, it scaled a high and a low of 10,104.45 and 9,977.10, respectively.

The 30-share Sensex after opening higher settled up 348.23 points, or 1.09 per cent, at 32,182.22.
