Seismic activity does not always indicate a nuclear test.

The quake took place at 16.41 UTC (5.41am NZT) at a depth of 5km, the US Geological Survey reported. According to the US Geological Survey, there isn't enough information to conclude the nature of the natural disaster yet.

Meanwhile, the South Korea Meteorological Administration posted on its official website that "analysis shows it was a natural quake".

According to 38 North, a Washington-based project which monitors North Korea, numerous landslides throughout the nuclear test site have been detected via satellite images after the sixth test. In July, North Korea carried out two tests of ballistic missiles, and on August 29 and September 15 it launched two missiles, which flew over Japan's territory.

Experts say the small quakes that occurred after the test may have been linked to the nuclear detonation, with some suggesting a possible increase of geological stress in the area.

The Evercore Trust Company holds 3.25 million shares with $113.74 million value, up from 3.18 million last quarter. Traders and technical analysts have the ability to use volume to help measure the strength of a particular move.

And now the latest quake to hit the region suggesting the detonations have dramatically destabilised the area.

These disturbances are more numerous and widespread than seen after any of the North's previous tests, 38 North has said. Since North Korea began testing its nuclear capabilities, experts have debated whether explosions at Punggye-ri could trigger another volcanic eruption.

Due to the recent nuclear tests by Pyongyang, tensions have soared up and the US President Trump has been engaged in an escalating war of words with the North's leader Kim Jong-un.

In September, Trump told the United Nations that the USA would "totally destroy North Korea" if there was war.

In response to Trump's speech, Kim rebuked him, calling Trump "mentally deranged" and threatened the "highest level of hard-line countermeasure in history".
