Jackie Alexander, who works as a school office manager in Utah, delivered the happy news to 11-year-old Tannah Butterfield on October 2.

Alexander said the moment was a bright spot on an otherwise somber day - the video took place the day after the mass shooting in Las Vegas. "It's not something I get to do every day".

"I grabbed her shoulders and said, 'Have you heard the news, baby? I am extremely humbled".

Alexander thought the minute was attractive to the point that she got Fisher's authorization and shared the video via web-based networking media.

When Tannah went to the school office recently, the school's office manager was able to give her the good news.

"I've been overwhelmed that my simple thoughts of a sweet moment have gone so viral", Alexander said.

The young Utah student said her "heart was so happy" when she learned of the news. "I can't even describe that hug.and thank heavens her mom doesn't mind that I kissed her a million times, and a million more after the film cuts off", Alexander writes.

The school's security camera captured the touching moment last week.

Tannah had her own message.

"She just held me tighter and tighter, so I took advantage of that". "And just being together and I know that... like having someone to actually love me".

Miss Jackie told her that her adoption had been finalized.

Tannah hopes when people watch her video, they will remember that if you wish for something long enough, it may just come true. "It was like 'ah!' It was like screaming", she said.
