BREAKING: Four tourists have 'acid thrown in their faces' outside train station

Four U.S. tourists were attacked in France on Sunday when acid was thrown in their faces.

The four women, in their early twenties, were traveling between Marseilles and Paris when they were attacked at 11am. She said a 41-year-old female suspect has been captured.

The incident was not terror-related, French officials confirmed to Fox News.

Two of the Americans were "slightly injured" with acid but did not require emergency medical treatment from medics at the scene, the spokeswoman said. Two of the women were treated for shock.
