Trump retweets video of golf ball hitting Hillary Clinton in the back

Though Trump had been uncharacteristically silent on Twitter as of late, a spate of freakish tweets Sunday morning suggested a return to form for the president's controversial social media tendencies.

Although the new White House Chief of Staff, John Kelly seemingly tamed Trump's tweet storms a bit, this morning the President may have retweeted his most inflammatory, message yet.

"Donald Trump's unbelievable golf swing #CrookedHillary", the tweet said, using a hashtag to reference the smear campaign against the former Democratic candidate for president.

The GIF of Trump hitting Clinton is reminiscent of the violent anti-CNN clip Trump retweeted in July. Clinton falls, appearing to have been injured as a staff member helps her to her feet. During the week, Trump tweeted about his former rival, writing, "Crooked Hillary Clinton blames everybody (and every thing) but herself for her election loss".
