Marlins Move Weekend Series From Miami To Milwaukee Due To Irma Recovery Efforts

Marlins move weekend home series against Brewers to Milwaukee

What's more odd is that tonight's game will be a road game for the Brewers despite being played at Miller Park.

The Milwaukee Brewers (78-69) connected on 12 hits Friday night, leading the way for a 10-2 route against the Miami Marlins (68-79) at Miller Park.

In a classy yet fun move, the Brewers went all out to make the Marlins feel at home, bringing in tropical plants, sea shells, flamingo statues and other items with a South Florida ambience. We were ready to host. "With limited capacity, we strongly encourage fans to purchase their tickets in advance, especially for the Friday game".

Iceland's government collapses after PM's father vouches for paedophile
It has emerged that the prime minister's father wrote a letter recommending a convicted paedophile have his "honour restored". Now it looks like those same left-wing political groups will get a second chance at a seat in government.

It's not the first time the Marlins have been forced to play home games elsewhere. The Saturday and Sunday games will extend that capacity to 23,000, with tickets available for both the Field Level and Loge Level.

"Major League Baseball in conjunction with the Miami Marlins, agreed that it is in the best interest of our community to relocate this weekend's Marlins games against the Milwaukee Brewers to Milwaukee", the statement read. The move isn't because of the condition of Marlins Park, but instead because the team doesn't want to further burden public resources while the city recovers from Hurricane Irma. Samson said the Marlins still intend to host a home series at Marlins Park that starts Monday against the New York Mets.
