Infiltration bid foiled: 2 terrorists killed in J&K

Two Militants Killed in J&K as Army Foils Infiltration Bid

The Army killed two armed terrorists, as it foiled an infiltration bid near the Line of Control in the Machhal sector of north Kashmir's Kupwara district.

The soldiers manning the fence at Goutum Post near LoC intercepted a group of militants. Earlier in August, the Army killed 5 intruders+ who were attempting to infiltrate from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) into Machhil sector. The interception led to an encounter that resulted into death of two unidentified terrorists, believed to be Pakistani nationals.
