Trump then says, "We're going to do a great job for you". And I think your tourism, I can say this, your tourism, you're going to go up like tenfold with the expenditure of no money, so I congratulate you. But then the conversation took a odd turn when Donald Trump took the opportunity to throw shade on President Obama and assure Calvo that this standoff is actually great for Guam's tourism economy.

North Korea quickly replied by leveling threats against Guam, a US territory with a heavy military presence which sits about 2,100 miles from the North Korean capital of Pyongyang. "We are with you 1,000 per cent", the media reported on Saturday.

"You've become extremely famous", he told Mr Calvo of the global news coverage following North Korea's threat.

Mr Calvo responded by agreeing his home was "paradise" and had "99 per cent occupancy". It just looks like a handsome place. "We've got 95% occupancy, and after all this stuff calms down, we're going to have 110% occupancy". We are with you 1,000 percent.

The two had a nice friendly chat, wherein Trump assured Calvo the U.S.is with Guam "1000 percent" and Calvo in turn talks about how much the people of Guam appreciate everything POTUS is doing for them - which is odd since from an outsider's perspective it looks like he's doing his best to goad North Korea into blowing them up.

The Guam Homeland Security and Office of Civil Defense released a fact sheet on Facebook and its website.

Even if sanctions bite, will North Korea give up its nukes?
Wang Yi said that sanctions were "necessary, but not the end goal" and are aimed at bringing North Korea to the negotiating table. The sanctions could further choke North Korea's struggling economy by slashing its $3 billion annual export revenue by a third.

Guardiola says current spending in football is unsustainable
Gabriel Jesus hopes competition between himself and Sergio Aguero can drive Manchester City towards success this season. But we can not forget that when we do something better than last season it's because we've been one year together.

"If caught outside, do not look at the flash or fireball - It can blind you".

Gov Calvo has also sought to allay anxiety among his citizens, telling them "there is no threat to our island".

"We are the best in the world by a factor of five", he said.

Tension in the region has risen since North Korea carried out two nuclear bomb tests a year ago and two intercontinental ballistic missile tests in July.

Despite the threats, the Lt. Governor said the people of Guam feel safe.

Trump again reassures Calvo, saying, "We'll see how it all works out but you're not going to have a problem".
