Cruise is no stranger to stunt work, having performed all manner of unsafe stunts in past "Mission: Impossible" flicks - including hanging onto the exterior of a jet plane as it took off.

The latest part of the franchise is now being filmed in London and is expected to arrive in cinemas on July 27, 2018.

Tom Cruise has been injured during the filming of a stunt on the set of Mission Impossible 6.

Cruise reportedly "hit the building pretty hard" and can be seen limping after pulling himself onto a platform.

He pulls himself up and is then limping badly, this part doesn't look like an act! He then heads back to the first building, with a noticeable limp, before crew members move him away to safety.

Earlier this year, Cruise revealed the title for the upcoming Top Gun sequel as Top Gun: Maverick in reference to the character he played in the original film. The extent of his injuries or the seriousness of the mishap was not immediately clear.

Cruise was performing a stunt on set where he was jumping from building to building. Plus, during Mission: Impossible II, the actor tore his shoulder while jumping across a cliff-face. There's no word on whether production will be delayed due to this injury, but as soon as any new information surfaces, we'll let you know.
