It is close to a year since Hollywood's once-golden couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie shocked the world with their divorce announcement. Explains the source, "She's still so in love with him".

Angelina is now awaiting the release of her Netflix film, First They Killed My Father.

Since their split, the exes have both spoke about their break up, including how it's affected their six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight.

Her change of heart coincided with Pitt's own about-face.

The couple ended relationship after being together for 12 years, after Pitt allegedly abused the couple's eldest son Maddox in a drunken state during a plane trip in September last year.

However, it seems that divorce proceedings have come to a halt following Brad Pitt's open and honest interview with GQ magazine where he detailed his struggles with alcohol and going into therapy.

I'm really, really happy to be done with all of that. "And it's hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more". I'm very proud of them.

His determination to improve himself warmed Jolie.

And his decision to ditch alcohol was a great first step.

"He got sober to try and win her back".

"He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of and that's all she ever wanted", the source continued.

With the divorce now in limbo, the source says the couple could make the next step together.

Meanwhile, the insider claims: 'Everyone thinks they are going to get back together. This also gave an indication that the former couple is taking things lightly and in the end, they might consider reconciling.

According to a report in US Weekly, a source revealed that Jolie changed her mind after seeing how much Pitt has changed since the separation.
