Daily Afternoon Rain & Storms

Daily Afternoon Rain & Storms

Moderate values of precipitable water, a measure of moisture in the atmosphere, will help rain showers fully develop into thunderstorms. Tuesday will remain mostly cloudy with the slight chance of lingering storms and highs in the low 80s. High temperatures will once again be seasonably warm - if not slightly above norms. Highs most days will be in the middle 80s, cooler farther north. Enjoy!

Friday's temperatures across the west will be in the upper 70s to low 80s, with the Grand Junction area seeing upper 80s.

And Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 84. A high-pressure system to the south of the area will help continue showers into the afternoon and evening hours.

Friday: Periods of rain and showers.

Temperatures are starting off quite warm this morning in the upper 70s with high humidity making for a heat index well into the 80s even before sunrise.
