Second suspect charged in missing men murders, abusing corpse

Body Of Missing Man Found By Pennsylvanian Authorities

Authorities say that a second 20-year-old male has been charged with multiple counts of homicide in connection with the deaths of three of four men who disappeared in rural Pennsylvania last weekend.

According to the district attorney's office, DiNardo and Kratz planned to sell $700 worth of marijuana to Finocchiaro on Friday, July 7, but chose to rob him instead.

The bodies of the men, aged 19 to 22, who had been missing since last week, were found on a farm owned by Dinardo's parents in Solebury, Pennsylvania.

When asked about a motive, Weintraub said, "I don't know that and I'm not sure we'll ever know". Mr. DiNardo was named a person of interest in the case of the missing men, and on Wednesday he was charged with trying to sell the auto belonging to Mr. Meo.

Finocchiaro was positively identified Wednesday after his remains were found in what Weintraub called a mass grave.

Upon his arrest as a person of interest, prosecutors said DiNardo was schizophrenic and a flight risk. He did this in exchange for having the death penalty taken off the table for his involvement in these crimes. Each of the men went missing within days of each other, and it is believed that their bodies are the remains that have been located in the two locations Cosmo DiNardo cited on his family's farm, according to ABC News.

According to an arrest affidavit, Dinardo told police he had agreed to sell marijuana to the men on three occasions at the property. He allegedly killed three other men two days later. They then walked to a remote part of the property where DiNardo said he fatally shot Patrick with a.22-caliber rifle. Kratz was charged with three counts of criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse and robbery.

Kratz and DiNardo were together on July 7 when they picked up Dean Finocchiaro and brought him to the farm property to sell him a quarter pound of marijuana for $700.

"He's told me and my friends, 'Yeah, I've killed people before, I just haven't been caught", the man said.

News crews gathered Thursday morning at the Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown in anticipation of a reported appearance by Mr. DiNardo's parents before a grand jury on Thursday, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. DiNardo said he picked up Kratz and drove to Finocchiaro's home in Middletown, agreeing on the way there that they would rob the man. DiNardo said he handed Kratz a.357 handgun that belongs to his mother, according to the court documents.

Kratz told investigators that DiNardo basically "crushed" Meo with the backhoe.

It was the discovery of Meo's auto on a DiNardo family property a half-mile from the farm that led to DiNardo's re-arrest. Sturgis tried to run, but was gunned down, court records show.

Police said they found Meo's diabetic kit inside the vehicle.
