In a press conference Friday afternoon, Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said there was still some key information pertaining to the investigation that he could not yet share with the media. Their bodies were found Wednesday in a 12-foot-deep common grave on the property discovered by cadaver dogs.

At the press conference Friday, he said that three of the bodies were located underneath an old oil tanker that had been converted into a "cooker" of some sort. They were identified as Jimi Taro Patrick, 19, Dean Finocchiaro, 19, Mark Sturgis, 22, and Thomas Meo, 21.

Mr. DiNardo was named a person of interest in the case of the missing men, and on Wednesday he was charged with trying to sell the auto belonging to Mr. Meo. A second suspect, identified in court documents as 20-year-old Sean Kratz, was charged with three counts of homicide in connection to the missing men, according to court documents obtained by ABC News.

Dinardo, who was arrested for theft on Wednesday, confessed to his involvement in the killings the next day, his attorney Paul Lang said.

Upon his arrest as a person of interest, prosecutors said DiNardo was schizophrenic and a flight risk. Sturgis, Meo and Finocchiaro disappeared two days later.

Dinardo would later tell police he had a Smith and Wesson.357 revolver. Standing outside a courthouse here, one of his attorneys said he had made the confession to avoid a death sentence.

A defense attorney has announced Cosmo DiNardo admitted while in prison to killing 4 missing men in Pennsylvania, and told authorities the location of their bodies.

Still, other uncertainties swirled around the case even after Dinardo's confession, including whether anyone else participated in the slayings.

That same AP report said the man said DiNardo killed the men after feeling cheated and threatened during drug transactions and that DiNardo sold quarter pound bricks of marijuana for several thousand dollars and hand guns to area residents. "We just don't know how many homicides". "I don't know what went wrong with the kid".

'Nice remembers': Tributes flood Twitter to mark anniversary of terror attack
Images and footage of the attack and its aftermath were a controversial subject immediately after the murders. He said they images are taken from afar, without identifying anyone and without "attacking their dignity".

Kratz and DiNardo had chose to rob Finocchiaro after luring him to the farm, but for some reason, Kratz shot him in the head, the affadavit said.

Police have recovered both weapons used in the murders, he said.

Afterward, Dinardo agreed to sell marijuana to Thomas Meo that same night, and he picked up Meo and his friend Mark Sturgis and drove them back to his property, the affidavit states.

Dinardo was released on bail on Tuesday when his father paid 10% of the $1 million bail in cash.

Police then focused the search on the land around properties owned by Antonio and Sandra DiNardo, as their son Cosmo, 20, has been identified as a "person of interest" in the case and arrested for trying to sell the auto for $500.

Eric Beitz, who said he had hung out with DiNardo in recent weeks, told philly.com that DiNardo routinely sold guns and on multiple occasions had talked "about weird things like killing people and having people killed".

A judge dismissed the charge in May, but the Bucks County district attorney's office authorized police to reinstate and refile charges last month.

"As parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dinardo sympathize with the parents and families of the missing young men and they are cooperating in every way possible with the investigation being conducted by law enforcement", the statement said.
