Mary Poppins Returns will take place 20 years later, following the story of a now-grown Michael Banks as he is reunited with his magical childhood nanny Mary Poppins who helps him to sort out his own children.

Our beloved singing governess Mary Poppins will be gracing the big screen once again this time with Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda in the lead role.

The footage also included glimpses at Julie Walters as the Banks' housekeeper Ellen, Meryl Streep as Mary's eccentric cousin Topsy, Angela Lansbury as the Balloon Lady, and Dick Van Dyke (sho starred in the original film in a different role) as Mr. Dawes Jr., the retired chairman of the bank now run by Firth's character.

Disney have released the first moving poster of Emily Blunt as the practically ideal nanny for Mary Poppins Returns - a sequel to the much-loved 1964 classic.

"Star Wars" fans did get a morsel of footage in a behind-the-scenes featurette from the upcoming space saga and a lively panel with the film's writer-director Rian Johnson and a few of the film's stars.

She then went on to say, "No one is ever going to out-Julie Julie Andrews". She also added that her version of Mary is a little more "acerbic and odd and vain" like the character is in the books. "And we were very loyal to the books", Emily said.

Johnson laughed that this wasn't his first job for Disney - he worked for the company's Disney Channel before he made his first film.

Disney also revealed an animated poster of Blunt's incarnation of Mary Poppins, which shows her posing in front of the London skyline. The teaser can be seen above. "So it's my version of her!" she said.
