Israeli Army Raids Palestinian TV Station Office in West Bank - Reports

Israeli security forces early Sunday morning shot and killed a Palestinian terrorist during an attempt to arrest him after he had threatened them with his weapon.

The Israeli army claims that the soldiers invaded Nabi Saleh after two incidents when live fire was used against Israeli soldiers and colonist settlers.

According to the army, the first incident took place when Amer opened fire on a vehicle of an Israeli colonist, near Ateret illegal settlement, and the second targeted a fortified military base, near Nabi Saleh.

Addameer has estimated that some 20 percent of Palestinians - and 40 per cent of Palestinian men - have been detained by Israel at some point in their lives.

The two Israeli officers, who are Arab citizens of Israel identified as Advanced Staff Sgt. Maj.
