After Deciding Not To Step Down As Deputy CM, Tejashwi Yadav Upsets People With His FB Post

Yadav said BJP was after him because he had highlighted the prime minister's "broken promises" to youths, farmers and workers, and asserted that the RJD would not rest till they ousted the saffron party not only from Bihar but from the entire country.

JD (U) spokesman Neeraj Kumar said those against whom accusations have been levelled should explain the source of their property "to silence the opposition".

Meanwhile, senior JD (U) leader Shyam Rajak, once a close confidante of Lalu's, said, "Laluji bujurgiyat me anap shanap bol rahe hain..."

Amid growing tension within the Bihar grand alliance, all eyes are now on the crucial JDU meeting tomorrow as chief minister Nitish Kumar will take stock of political situation, reports.

There is speculation that Lalu may ask his son to resign and direct all the RJD Ministers to put in their papers while supporting the alliance Government from outside. The RJD Legislature Party has spurned the JD (U)'s demand that the deputy CM should come clean on the CBI charges against him or step down to uphold GA's "zero tolerance policy on corruption".

US Democrats renew efforts to link banks, Trump and Russian Federation

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Friday said his son Tejashwi, accused of corruption, would not resign as Bihar deputy chief minister. "I don't know the reason but they should have come", said Jai Kumar Singh, Industries Minister. It is being said that if Nitish sacks Tejashwi, all RJD ministers will resign from the government.

As part of seven resolves, the state government is committed to set up an engineering college, ITI, women's ITI, GNM Institute in every district, he said and expressed hope that his efforts will reduce the number of students going outside the state to pursue higher education.

A remark by JD (U) general secretary Shyam Rajak, early Saturday, appeared to add fuel to fire. Being a minority partner, the question they are agonising over is which side to back if the alliance does break.

On the other hand, RJD leaders maintained that Tejashwi will not resign with RJD MLA Bhai Birendra saying that only his party would decide on the demand for resignation and no party could diktat it. This meeting has assumed extra significance in the backdrop of the ongoing crisis in the Grand Alliance. "Bihar cannot develop without the overall growth of youths", Kumar said while addressing at a function organised on the occasion of "World Youth Skill Day" in Patna.
