Fox's Shepard Smith: Trump administration deception 'is mind-boggling'

'She does': Shep Smith calls BS on Trump's claim Russian lawyer had no Kremlin ties

Trump says he and Putin 'get along very, very well'

Shepard Smith and Chris Wallace are the two most prominent faces of relative normalcy at Fox headquarters, and not surprisingly, they're reacting to the Trump-Russia affair a little differently than most of their co-workers. The host added that there was an eighth person in the room with Donald Trump Jr. and the Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in 2016.

It was after this new information came in that Smith went off, seemingly unable to hold back his criticism.

At one point, he even seemed to directly address his Fox viewers to remind them that, no, this isn't fake news. Smith said during a broadcast on Friday, speaking with fellow anchor Chris Wallace.

Wallace had also expressed unease earlier in the segment, warning, "if you're a fair-minded citizen, you ought to be concerned about the fact that we were repeatedly misled about what this meeting concerned". "If there's nothing there - and that's what they tell us".

WWE Superstars Upset With The Canceling Of Talking Smack
Even stranger, it truly seemed like WWE's talents were benefiting from the free-form arena Talking Smack supplied. Last Tuesday's episode will serve as the last, with the new schedule being a post-PPV only one.

Hours before Smith's criticism, Steve Doocy of "Fox & Friends" suggested that "the Russian Federation story is starting to fall apart" while he spoke to White House adviser Kellyanne Conway. None of these people made it ... If you clean, come on clean, you know?' At night Sean Hannity wraps things up by serving as Trump's prosecutor, he rips apart any politician, pundit or newsmaker who dares say anything critical about the president. My grandmother used to say, "When first we practice to - Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive".

"The deception, Chris is mind boggling", he continued, referring to Fox News' Chris Wallace. And one day they're going to realize we're not and look around and go, "Where are we?"

Despite the "mind-boggling" deception, Smith contended that there are "still people out there that believe we're making it up". "Very important stuff, you can go to prison for messing it up - you know, intentionally". I think there's a lot of truth to everything that you've said.
